We are partnering with schools across London, to research, discover and share the role parents play in contributing to the progression of their child in school.

We want to learn about the challenges and successes of parental engagement by conducting surveys and interviews with parents, teachers and where possible the students themselves. Our aim is to share our research with each school’s key stakeholders, teaching staff and parents by providing an insight to each institution’s home-school partnership, as well as our collective findings.

In addition, we will be launching an app to help parents provide support to their children and we will be exclusively offering the system free to the parents of those schools who partner with us.

Join the biggest
home-school revolution

We believe that by encouraging parents to do a little everyday, through easily accessible activities will not only give their child support in learning, but will make for a more empowered parent who is collaborative with the school in its learning objectives.

In essence, we think that successful ongoing
home-school partnerships are about
Learning Together Everyday. Whether that is children applying what they have learnt outside of the classroom or parents learning about their child’s capabilities through relevant and regular guided interaction.

How do we access time
spent with parents?

The

project

Work with us to create
the biggest revolution in
home-school partnerships

During the course of a 7-day week most children spend only 25 hours learning at school. But what about the rest of the time?

We at Arjo believe that if we can leverage some of the time that children spend at home with parents to support classroom learning, we could have a positive effect on attainment and achievement.

The Arjo project is about researching, understanding and sharing the best methods to enable parents to provide targeted support in a tangible and meaningful way. Our aim is to create revolutionary home-school partnerships that will provide insights and practical solutions for both parents and teachers.

Learning

We want to give parents a deeper understanding of the curriculum and the tools to support teaching objectives. Most importantly we want to give parents the confidence in their own ability to support their child.

Together

We believe collaboration is crucial and will flourish when parents, teachers and students understand and aim for the same attainment and achievement goals.

Everyday

By supporting parents more regularly, we believe we can help them to develop their child’s skills and potentially make better assessments of their child’s capabilities, which can lead to better feedback for teachers.

Arjo is committed to giving parents the opportunity to make a difference
